Alamance Pregnancy Services offers a variety of services at no cost to women facing unplanned or crisis pregnancies. Our goal is to provide information and come alongside women as they make important decisions about their future.
Through caring, confidential counseling, women are empowered to face the challenges of pregnancy and parenting.
We offer:
- Pregnancy Option Information
- Bible Classes
- Parenting Classes
- Infant Care Classes
- Childbirth Classes
- Counseling
- Maternity & Baby Needs
- Graduate Program (Support through 1st year of motherhood)
Alamance Pregnancy Services serves approximately 200 women annually. There is no age limit; all expectant mothers are welcome.
Every service offered through the program has a Biblical focus and exists to impart Christian principles for living. Some women in the program are struggling with substance abuse issues. Others may be facing situations such as domestic violence or homelessness. As these women learn about parenting, well-baby care, maternal health, budgeting, and more, they develop knowledge of Scripture, and often, a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ.
Program participants who take steps to improve their lives, as well as the lives of their children, are rewarded with points that can be used at the Baby Store on campus to purchase a variety of items, including infant clothing, blankets, diapers, formula, and more. This helps reduce the financial burden of caring for a baby and encourages mothers to continue investing in their lives. The Baby Store is made possible by generous donors. If you would like to give, the following items are most needed:
- Diapers: Newborn-Size 5
- Baby Wipes
- New or Gently Used Baby Clothing (Newborn-4T)
- Baby Blankets
- Baby Furniture
- NEW Car Seats (We are unable to accept used car seats.)
